The Fitzwilton Hotel is looking for a Receptionist to join the Team!

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating unique, memorable and personal experiences for our guests during the process of check-in, check-out, reservations, and will report directly to the Front Office Manager. You will have intuitive responsiveness to the expressed and unexpressed wishes and needs of our guests.

It boasts 90 bedrooms and suites, contemporary in style, blending traditional woods with modern art and accessories, with many offering views across Waterford's cityscape and the River Suir.

About The Role

Job Purpose: The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating unique, memorable and personal experiences for our guests during the process of check-in, check-out, reservations, and will report directly to the Front Office Manager. You will have intuitive responsiveness to the expressed and unexpressed wishes and needs of our guests.

Receptionist Responsibilities & Job Requirements

Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent service, build strong relationships, anticipate and exceed the guests’ expectations
  • Ensure an efficient reception experience for Guests, including check-in/out and complete audit procedures, as required
  • Take ownership of guests’ issues and take action to resolve them immediately

Job Requirements:

  • This is a Part-Time role
  • Excellent command of English in both verbal and written communication
  • A natural ability to sell the Fitzwilton Hotel Experience
  • Confident with a pleasant disposition and well-groomed
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Working on rotating shifts, including weekends
  • Experience in front management systems (Hotsoft) desirable

  • Working on rotating shifts, including weekends

  • Knowledge of Hotsoft PMS
  • Previous Receptionist Experience preferably in the Hospitality Sector
