Receptionist (Full Time)

The Brandon House Hotel is a 4-star, family-run hotel nestled in the scenic surroundings of New Ross, Co. Wexford. With 78 well-appointed bedrooms, a ballroom, restaurant, meeting facilities, wellness spa, and leisure centre-all set within mature gardens and a Senses Walk-we are committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences in a welcoming environment.

Role Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced, friendly and professional Receptionist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering outstanding guest service and supporting the smooth running of the front desk. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment and values excellence in customer care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Warmly welcome and check in guests upon arrival
• Handle check-outs and process payments (cash and digital) accurately
• Answer telephone and email enquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Promote and upsell hotel facilities, including the restaurant, spa, and leisure centre
• Maintain accurate records and complete end-of-shift cash balancing
• Collaborate effectively with all departments to ensure a seamless guest experience

Skills and Attributes:

• Proficiency in front office/reservation systems (training can be provided)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
• Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings
• A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn
• Previous hotel experience is an advantage but not essential
