Join Our Veterinary Team!

We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and compassionate Veterinary Assistant & Receptionist to join our team. This is a hands-on, client-focused position ideal for someone who enjoys working with both animals and people in a fast-paced veterinary environment.

Schedule

Friday through Monday
This is a regular 4-day-per-week position. Some flexibility with hours may be required based on clinic needs.

Responsibilities

As a Veterinary Assistant & Receptionist, you will help ensure our patients, clients, and veterinary team receive excellent care and support. Responsibilities include:

  • Greeting clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism
  • Answering phones, scheduling appointments, and responding to client inquiries
  • Checking patients in and out and processing payments
  • Maintaining accurate client and patient records
  • Assisting veterinarians and technologists with appointments and procedures
  • Handling, restraining, and caring for dogs and cats safely
  • Preparing exam rooms and maintaining a clean, organized clinic
  • Cleaning and disinfecting equipment and treatment areas
  • Assisting with laboratory samples, medications, and other clinical tasks as directed
  • Providing compassionate patient care and monitoring hospitalized or recovering animals
  • Communicating clearly with clients regarding basic instructions and follow-up care
  • Supporting the team wherever needed to keep the clinic running smoothly

Veterinary Assistant experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who has a positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn.

Pay: $16.00-$21.00 per hour
