Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Recruiter. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong negotiation abilities. The Recruiter will play a vital role in building our talent pipeline through strategic sourcing, interviewing, and candidate engagement to support organizational growth and employee relations initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute effective talent acquisition strategies utilizing HR sourcing techniques, social media platforms, cold calling, and lead generation.
- Manage the full-cycle recruiting process including screening resumes, conducting interviews, and coordinating hiring activities.
- Negotiate offers with candidates and facilitate the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition into the organization.
- Maintain strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers to foster a positive candidate experience and support employee relations initiatives.
Qualifications
- Must have demonstrated experience sourcing, screening, and onboarding Owner Operators and Company Drivers for Canada and U.S. lanes, including understanding of FMCSA/DOT and Canadian compliance requirements.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience conducting interviews effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage candidates at all levels.
- Experience with sales or lead generation is a plus for proactive sourcing strategies.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $35,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
