Fohntech Group was established in 2017 and is now one of the leading construction services companies in Ireland. We are currently partnering on several high-profile industrial projects across Ireland, UK and Europe. One of the main activities of the group is to source talent in the mechanical and electrical sectors.
Due to the continued growth of our business, we are currently seeking a Recruiter to join our team to look after our roles in Denmark, Sweden & Germany. The Recruiter will play a crucial role in sourcing, screening, and selecting top talent for various roles within the company. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of recruitment best practices, and the ability to build relationships with potential candidates and internal stakeholders.
This position can be based in the office, hybrid or remote depending on your location.
Responsibilities:
Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals.
Screen resumes and applications to identify candidates who meet the requirements for construction roles
Conduct initial phone screenings and interviews to assess candidates' skills, experience, and suitability for specific positions.
Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a seamless and efficient recruitment process.
Manage the candidate pipeline and applicant tracking system to track candidate progress and maintain accurate records of recruitment activities.
Provide guidance and support to hiring managers on best practices for interviewing, selection, and onboarding of construction personnel.
Stay current with industry trends, labour market conditions, and recruitment best practices to continually improve recruitment strategies and processes.
Collaborate with the HR team to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Previous experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably in the construction industry or related fields.
Knowledge of construction trades, skills, and terminology across diverse construction sectors.
Strong sourcing and networking abilities, with a proven track record of successfully identifying and engaging top talent.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for recruitment and talent acquisition, with a focus on delivering high-quality candidates to meet business needs.
