We are seeking an experienced Recruiting Manager to lead a high-performing team of recruiters dedicated to hiring top talent for our Operation teams in Australia. This role will work closely with global partners, and will shape how we think about Talent Acquisition within the country.
As the AU Operations Recruiting Manager, you'll be a strategic partner to business leaders, providing talent insights, driving innovative sourcing strategies, and delivering a world-class candidate experience. You'll build and develop a team of recruiting professionals, setting performance goals, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Please note that the preferred location for this role is Melbourne. Our corporate office is in Collins Street.

1. Drive business growth through talent strategy
Build scalable hiring strategies that support high growth business expansion plans, ensuring the organization can meet rapidly evolving talent demands while maintaining speed and quality.
2. Innovate and solve for scale
Design creative hiring solutions by challenging existing processes, identifying operational inefficiencies, and continuously improving recruitment strategies to support large-scale workforce growth.
3. Build for the customer and future business needs
Work backwards from customer and business needs to create talent acquisition strategies that enable new delivery models, operational expansion, and long-term workforce readiness.
4. Champion diversity and inclusive hiring practices
Develop innovative sourcing strategies that build strong and diverse talent pipelines, ensuring hiring practices create equitable access to talent and strengthen organizational capability.
5. Operate as a trusted business advisor
Partner closely with senior leaders to understand market dynamics, anticipate workforce challenges, and influence strategic talent decisions using deep market expertise and consultative problem solving.
6. Lead and develop high-performing teams
Build, coach, and mentor a team of recruiters, fostering a culture centered around high standards, continuous learning, strong execution, and long-term career growth.
7. Use data to drive better decisions
Leverage analytics, dashboards, and hiring metrics to identify trends, improve operational efficiency, and make data-backed decisions that improve hiring outcomes.
About the team
The role is part of Global TA team with focus on APAC. You will join a senior team of recruiting leaders focused on growing our APAC markets. The team leads recruiting delivery for retail, operations and corporate roles including high volume hiring, tech and non-tech, and will sit on the leadership team across Australia, China and ASEAN markets.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 6+ years of recruiting or HR experience
- Experience in recruiting or HR
- Experience building, coaching and managing a recruiting team
- Experience managing large dispersed recruiting/sourcing teams
- Experience working with recruiting tools and systems, including resume databases, internet sourcing tools, and spreadsheets
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience creating, measuring and scaling workflow among candidates, hiring managers and the recruiting team
- Experience managing senior staff or staffing managers
- Experience with workforce planning
- Experience partnering with hiring teams to build effective sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches with an ability to manage customer/partner expectations
