ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re on the hunt for an energetic, detail-obsessed, and deadline-driven Marketing Intern to join the Red Bull Ireland Sports Events team. This is your chance to dive headfirst into the fast-paced world of live sports events, gaining hands-on experience in planning, logistics, marketing, and execution. You’ll support our Event Manager, helping bring a major Red Bull sports event to life, with a key focus on managing an unforgettable competitor journey from sign-up to finish line and beyond.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Management and Event Competitor Engagement
- Application Management & Judging
- Competitor Engagement
- Support Event Manager with Event Delivery
o Logistics management
o Management of key stakeholders and staffing related to competitor activity
o Budget management
- Review Key Learnings
Communication
- Creation and delivery of all official email communications for event competitors
- Be the fulcrum of communications between competitors and other internal Red Bull teams
- Management of competitor questions & queries throughout campaign and on event day
Collaboration
- Work closely with Event Manager to deliver the best possible competitor journey throughout the campaign
- Collaboration with other Red Bull teams to maximise competitor experience output
- Collaboration with external operational teams and suppliers to provide competitors with the best onsite event experience possible
REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Similar experience in events, sports marketing, sport institution or federation preferred
- Currently pursuing or finished a degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field
- A natural planner, highly organised, able to multi-task and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment who is deadline driven
- Genuine interest in, and passion for sport, who is an ideas person, creative, innovative and open-minded
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
- Positive attitude and calm, even when under pressure
- Confident and well able to engage and inspire, a team player with a willingness to contribute, collaborate and learn from others
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
The successful candidate must have a full clean driver’s license and be available to work evenings or weekend as required in particular May 16th & 17th 2026.
