Refund Specialist

Healthgram is seeking a Refund Specialist to assist our Claims Department. This position can expect to cover a range of claims-related administrative duties with a focus on researching information regarding refunds for our clients.

What the Refund Specialist can expect:

• Accurately calculate, process, and request refunds while maintaining timely and detailed logging of all refund activity.
• Research and enter incoming refund checks, including scanning and uploading documents into the electronic filing system with a high degree of accuracy.
• Make outbound calls to providers regarding outstanding refunds and document all communication promptly.
• Enter paper claims and other assigned information into the system with strong attention to detail.
• Assist with general office tasks, including receptionist rotation duties such as greeting visitors and sorting mail, as well as completing assigned tickets and projects.

What the ideal Refund Specialist candidate will bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong keyboarding and data entry skills with excellent accuracy.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Professional phone etiquette.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
