Due to continued growth Ann’s Children’s Care are seeking a further Regional Manager to work across our Residential Homes in counties Louth, Monaghan and Dublin.
Working collaboratively with senior management, your role will be to support a group of home managers in delivering the highest standards of care and support whilst ensuring regulatory and statutory compliance.

The regional manager will uphold these values and support and mentor managers to ensure our homes are safe nurturing environments where our young people can flourish and reach their full potential.
There will be a strong emphasis on compliance and adherence to standards as well as the fostering of good relations with all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
· To support and mentor Home Managers and Deputy Managers in their roles, preparing them and their teams for inspections and ensuring learning outcomes and CAPA’s are shared with the organization as a whole.
· Assist in the planning, preparation and operation of new residential homes alongside Directors, and providing regular updates and communication
· To conduct and support Home Managers to undertake regular audits and best practice
· Ensuring each home manager receives formal 4 weekly supervision with required follow up documented and revisited.
· Ensure that the company’s appraisal system is being followed and oversee all relevant documentation.
· Liaise with HR, Home Managers etc on personnel matters as required
· Ensure all Home Managers have an up-to-date appraisal and establish goals with Home Managers through this process.
· Be knowledgeable on the young people’s care plans.
· Visit all Residential Homes a minimum of once per month and complete visit report form a minimum of once per month.
· Ensure that all Residential Homes are up to standard and help prepare homes for inspections.
· Form part of the SEN review group which entails overseeing all SENs that are sent from the Residential Homes and give appropriate feedback and guidance.
· Ensure that all SENs are printed and filed accordingly.
· Meet with the review group a minimum of once per month to formally review same.
· Complete this process for all CPNs and establish the same systems for complaints and grievances.
· Attend any meetings that are related to any of the Residential Homes e.g. CICR, LAC…
· Assist with the referral process and Group Impact assessments.
· Liaise with inspectors and monitors SWD, GAL and other professionals as and when required and assist in overseeing all inspection reports and responses to relevant bodies alongside Operations Manager.
· Attend all relevant training and ensure all core training is in date in order to pass on relevant knowledge to the homes.
· Deliver training to teams as and when necessary.
· Assist in induction training for new recruits e.g. recording training etc.
· Attend all monthly Management Meetings and assist with formulating an agenda and recording of same.
· Assist in the interview process as and when required.
· Assist HR in relation to recruitment
· Be available to all Residential Home Managers and offer support with staffing issues, rota concerns, preplacement, team meetings, handovers, times of crisis within the homes etc.
· Be available to Home Managers for advice and guidance as and when required.
Criteria
- Minimum Level 7 qualification in Health and Social Care or related discipline
- 3 years’ experience of operational management in a health & social care sector
- Experience of performance management
- Up to date knowledge of legislation surrounding residential childcare and safeguarding
- Experience of handling large quantities of data
- Experience of working with professional practitioners and / or commissioners
- Relevant Management Qualification
- Up to date knowledge of all Microsoft packages
- Ability to deliver reports and meet deadlines
- Full driving license
