Regional Sales Manager, App Developer Sales (English, Vietnamese)

Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 11 years of experience in advertising sales, digital marketing, consulting, or media.
  • Experience in people management.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Vietnamese fluently to communicate with and serve Vietnamese speaking customers.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience with effective sales/operations management and strategic planning.
  • Experience in sales coaching and mentoring, and success developing sales individuals to hit their development goals.
  • Experience developing new business growth streams, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Understanding of the app developer ecosystem and industry.
  • Ability to take on complex, ambiguous topics, build strategy, and influence stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate in Indonesian, Urdu, or Thai fluently to effectively communicate with stakeholders in-market, who may be from Southeast Asia or South Asian Frontier markets.

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will lead and coach business development teams that use consultative sales skills to understand our advertisers' needs and deliver measurable solutions that grow their businesses. You will also work with the Sales leadership team to set strategic goals and run the day-to-day operations for the business.

You will create strategic growth opportunities and cultivate relationships with key customers. You will partner closely with the App Developers global leadership team, external industries, as well as stakeholders within the wider Google organization to accelerate our position in the fast growing and strategic app/gaming business. You will on-board, lead, and coach a customer-facing team. You will implement a coaching culture and develop sales specific behaviors throughout the organization. You will work with your team to set and execute strategy to grow the up and coming existing app advertisers across different regions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a multinational Sales team to consistently exceed quarterly business goals. Establish and maintain operational excellence, business planning, and execution.
  • Inspire, coach, and mentor the team, cultivating a high-performance culture and providing development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with clients and the team to identify customer-level growth opportunities, understanding client needs and coaching the team to become trusted advisors.
  • Lead strategic planning to uncover key market and regional-level growth opportunities in the region, leveraging strong quantitative analysis, qualitative research and build robust go-to-market plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership, influencing stakeholders to maximize collective impact.
