Registered Dental Assistant (Rda)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide exceptional support to our dentist and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have experience in a dental office setting and be familiar with managing patient flow for efficiency and productivity. The position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, HIPAA regulations, and patient communication.

Duties:

- Greet patients and ensure they are comfortable and prepared for their appointments.
- Assist dentist with four-handed dentistry, including preparing instruments and materials.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including dental charts and medical histories.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing patient flow if needed.
- Prepare patients for endodontic and general dentistry procedures.
- Follow HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality regarding patient information.
- Maintain a clean and organized dental office environment.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in dental technology and medical coding.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a dental assisting program or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience as a dental receptionist or assistant in a general dentistry or pediatric dentistry setting.
- Proficiency in dental terminology and medical coding.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and their application in a dental office.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks as needed.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with dentists and other staff members.
- Familiarity with 3D scanner systems and dental technology.
-RDA Certification

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $30.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
