You will start working one day per week, with the possibility of adding

additional days in the future. This is an outpatient practice. No nights, no

on-call, no weekends, no holidays. Experience a plus, but not required. We

will train you on these exciting, new procedures. Experienced in joint

injections, a plus.

Duties:

- Perform comprehensive physical examinations on patients
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as medical imaging and cardiac catheterization
- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Participate in discharge planning and ensure smooth transitions of care
- Conduct utilization reviews to ensure appropriate use of healthcare resources
- Provide specialized care for patients with developmental disabilities or ophthalmology needs
- Follow infection control protocols to maintain a safe healthcare environment

Requirements:

- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in [state]
- Master's degree in Nursing with specialization as a Nurse Practitioner
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the relevant specialty area (e.g., Family, Adult, Pediatric)
- Experience in psychopharmacology and managing mental health conditions
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems (e.g., Cerner)
- Knowledge of sterile processing techniques for procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $65.00 - $80.00 per hour
