About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (Division 1) to join our friendly and supportive team. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing clinical support to our GPs and delivering outstanding patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Triage and patient assessment
  • Wound care and dressings
  • Immunisations and vaccinations (in accordance with the NIP)
  • Health assessments and care plan collaboration with GPs
  • Cold chain management and infection control
  • Assistance with minor procedures, including Implanon insertions/removals, biopsies, and child circumcisions
  • Chronic disease management (Diabetes, Asthma, etc.)
  • Health promotion and patient education

Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a motivated and adaptable nurse who demonstrates a strong commitment to professional growth and continuous learning. The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)
  • Be an accredited Nurse Immunizer
  • Have experience or be willing to train in assisting with minor procedures
  • Be familiar with general practice operations and Medicare item numbers
  • Be competent in the use of medical software and clinical equipment

Qualifications & Experience

  • Appropriate tertiary nursing qualification and current AHPRA registration
  • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in general practice or community health
  • Current Professional Indemnity Insurance
  • Demonstrated knowledge of:
  • Immunisation schedules
  • Diabetes and asthma management
  • Infection control and cold chain procedures
  • CPR and emergency response protocols
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Hours of Work
Flexible hours available between 8:00am – 10:00pm, with options for full-time or part-time employment.

Pay: $57,432.50 – $109,501.73 per year
