Registered Nurse Night Duty job opportunity

Introduction:
Columbia Aged Care is looking for permanent and casual RN with excellent clinical skills to support our residents and other care staff, working night duty from 22:30 to 07:00 am.

Description:
About the Role:
You will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our residents by:

Provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care to residents during night shifts.
Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
Monitoring and recording resident's conditions and maintaining accurate medical records
Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for residents
Providing support and guidance to care staff
Participating in family meetings and contributing to care planning
Adhering to relevant policies, procedures, and regulations to maintain standards of care
Ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for residents
Remaining updated with current practices and participating in continuous professional development.

About you:

Hold a valid AHPRA Registration with no notation or conditions.
Hold a current or ability to obtain National Police Check completed within the last 3 months.
Has Australian work rights
Sound knowledge and understanding of Strengthen Aged Care Quality Standards and documentation requirements.
Demonstrated experience in aged care nursing
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Sound clinical assessment and decision-making skills
Strong understanding of person-centred care principles
Proven ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks
Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning
