Seeking Part-Time Staff Nurse. Role is for Duty 1o r 2 night shift per week . Needs to be available Saturday night as required.

Ideally looking for a Nurse currently residing in Ireland with their registration in place

Staff Nurses role is to ensure the highest standards of care and services is delivered to our residents, in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes independence.

Qualifications and/or experience

· Be registered in the Register of Nurses maintained by An Bord Altranais agus Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland)

· Experience working In Care of the Older Person (Desirable)

· Management Experience

· Demonstrate practitioner competence and professionalism in order to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the role

· Practices nursing care safely and effectively, fulfilling her/his professional responsibility within her/his scope of practice

· Display evidence-based clinical knowledge in making decisions regarding resident care

· Demonstrate a commitment to continuing professional development

· Demonstrate evidence of effective planning and organising skills

· Demonstrate the ability to build and maintain relationships including the ability to work effectively as part of a multi disciplinary team

· Demonstrates a commitment to providing a quality service

· Demonstrate evidence of ability to empathise with and treat patients, relatives and colleagues with dignity and respect

· Demonstrate effective analytical, problem solving and decision making skills

· Demonstrates excellent communication skills, including sufficient command of the English language so as to effectively carry out the duties and responsibilities of the role

· Practices in accordance with legislation affecting nursing practice

· Demonstrate a willingness to engage and develop IT skills relevant to the role

· Ability to work with initiative and as a member of a team.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: €25.00-€26.50 per hour

Schedule:

• 12 hour shift
• Night shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Bray, Bray, CO. Wicklow A98 VY10: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Care of Older person: 2 years (preferred)
