Register Nurse for Home Health

This position is part time to start. We have flexibility and a variety of cases. Our goals are patient care with excellence. We spend time training with our Director of Nursing and setting you up for success.

TYPES of CASES

* TBI PT

* Veterans

* Case Management

* Wound Care

* Tube Feeding

* IV (Training with IVIG Nurses)

* Supervising & training Non medical field staff

We are currently seeking a part-time Registered Nurse experienced in caring for patients with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). Familiarity with the following is required: tube feeding using a Kangaroo pump, cough-assist machines, tracheostomy care with suction, and the use of braces and motorized wheelchairs. Comprehensive training will be provided. We have Home Health clients for wound care, IV's, Medication Management, Injections and more. If flexibility and variety of cases suites you please call me.

Applicants must hold a valid Compact Nursing License or a Kentucky Nursing License.

Job Specifications

Organizing nursing visits, clients and designing Plan of Care for clients - medical and non medical. Follow BrightStar Care policies and procedures. Maintaining Joint Commission and State Clinical compliance. Working with Case managers with Skilled cases and keeping notes up to date. Home health visits include all facets of Medication Management, Infusions, Wound Care and review of clients.

Requirements for Clinical Trial Nurse:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Current unencumbered RN license in KY
• RN with experience in blood draws, infusions (optional), wound care and home-based care is preferred
• Reliable car / auto insurance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to directly interact with COVID-19 positive patients
• Proof of eligibility to work in the US
• Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen
• Ability to clock in and out on a smartphone
• Assure proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with all applicable laws
• Consistent attendance and availability

Pay: $35-$40 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• May have weekend needs but is optional
• PPE provided
