Registered Nurse (Rn) Charge Nurse

We are currently seeking a Full Time RN Charge Nurse to join our enthusiastic team at Artman!

Shift Available:

• 11:00pm - 7:00am
• Full Time

Key job resposibilities include:

• Direct the day-to-day functions of household staff or other nursing personnel in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the Community.
• Interview and complete timely evaluations of household staff.
• Ensure that all assigned nursing personnel including household staff comply with the written policies and procedures established by the Facility.
• Evaluate/assess all residents with a change in condition daily, including suspected abuse.
• Ensure physician/family notification and documentation of changes in condition.
• Ensure proper procedures and policies for assisting with medications including accuracy, documentation, orders, etc., are followed for every medication daily.
• Complete admission/discharge procedures.
• Responsible for reviewing all incidents on the shift of occurrence and follow-up visits when deemed necessary. Shift documentation and visual assessments are required for nine shifts.
• Ensure adequate supplies are available to staff at the beginning of shift.
• All complaints are to follow complaint procedures using proper forms.

Education and Experience

• Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or graduate from an approved RN program.
• Current CPR certification.
• Three (3) years’ experience in geriatric nursing and supervisor experience preferred.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a RN in this state.
