The remuneration range for this role is $75,773 - $106,739 and is covered by the collective agreement: NZNO HNZ Collective Agreement 31 March 2023 - 31 October 2024

For the continued provision of high standard care, the General Surgery Department at Tairawhiti District Health is currently looking for a Registered Nurse to join their team full time.

About you
- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth (mandatory)
- Experience in projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings. (mandatory)
- Having an empathetic and friendly disposition is vital as is an excellent approach to problem solving, the ability to organise and to remain calm under pressure. Experience working in a surgical setting is desirable.
- Candidates must be registered with the New Zealand Nursing Council and have a current annual practicing certificate.
