About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Unit based at Whakatāne Hospital in a permanent part-time role working 0.6 FTE (24 hours per week).

This role offers the chance to work across a variety of general surgical specialties within a dynamic, high-performing team. You will contribute to the care of patients at different stages of their surgical journey, while continuing to grow your clinical expertise in a supportive and collaborative environment.

About you

What you will bring:

• Current NZ Nursing Registration and Annual Practicing Certificate
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a surgical ward or similar setting
• Strong cultural awareness and commitment to patient-centred care
• The desire to keep learning and developing your nursing career
