Sadie G. Mays Health & Rehab is looking for an outstanding RN to join our community. This is a full-time Monday - Friday, (including one weekend a month) within a long-term care setting.

Long Term Care Facility located in Atlanta; GA is Hiring RN Nurse Unit Manager!!

General Purpose:

The Unit Manager is under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, has authority, responsibility, and accountability for the overall management of residents on a designated unit on a twenty-four basis, seven days per week. The Unit Manager is responsible for directing, coordinating, and supervising the activities of all nursing staff engaged in specific nursing practices and is responsible for transmitting each unit's staff concerns to the appropriate department supervisor.

JOB KNOWLEDGE AND ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Makes routine rounds, assesses residents’ needs and changes in status.
• Updates Resident Care Plans as needed.
• Reviews and investigates incident reports with follow-up as appropriate.
• Engages with resident families to address concerns and issues.
• Ensures all unit staff provides quality delivery of care and a high level of customer service to all residents, visitors, peers, and vendors.
• Provides mentoring, guidance, and teaches staff as necessary.
• Assists with new admissions.
• Works in collaboration with Nursing Administration
• Medication pass when needed
