Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our healthcare team. The RRT will be responsible for assessing, treating, and caring for patients with respiratory disorders. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Conducting patient assessments to determine the appropriate respiratory therapy treatments
• Administering oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and mechanical ventilation as needed
• Monitoring patients' respiratory status and adjusting treatments as necessary
• Educating patients and their families on respiratory conditions and treatments
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
• Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes

Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid RRT credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field preferred
• Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist
• CPR certification
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of respiratory therapy treatments and equipment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
