About the Role
The Release Manager is responsible for the end-to-end coordination and governance of software releases across Coda and its clients.
Working closely with Engineering, Project Management and DevOps teams as well as client stakeholders, you’ll ensure releases are planned, tested, approved, communicated, and deployed successfully with minimal disruption to operations.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced agile environments, enjoys coordinating complex moving parts, and can confidently manage stakeholders across both technical and business teams.
About you
- Own and manage end-to-end release activities across client projects.
- Maintain release schedules and calendars, ensuring alignment with delivery priorities, client commitments, and business objectives.
- Coordinate release activities across engineering pods, managing dependencies, risks, and timelines across multiple streams of work.
- Facilitate release planning and readiness activities, including go/no-go checkpoints and stakeholder approvals.
- Establish and manage Change Advisory Board (CAB) processes to review, assess, and approve releases with internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage release risks, issues, and blockers end-to-end, proactively identifying and assessing impacts, driving resolution, and escalating where required, while also evaluating downstream impacts to future client implementations and the long-term product roadmap.
- Oversee deployments across development, staging, UAT, and production environments, ensuring release readiness and operational stability.
