Relief Booking Coordinator - Maternity Leave
  • Hawke’s Bay fallen Soldiers Hospital, Fixed Term until March 2026
  • Full-time, 80 hours per fortnight (1.0 FTE)

About the Role

An excellent opportunity has become available for skilled Administrator’s to work within the Hawke’s Bay DHB’s Outpatient Booking Coordinators Team. You may also be requested to provide support for other admin areas.


About the Team/Service/ Location

Our teams coordinate outpatient bookings so you’ll need to an effective communicator, have excellent administrative, organisational and time management skills and the ability to work under pressure.


About you

Naturally you will be able to recognise the needs, aims and aspirations of whanau from all culturally diverse groups within our community. We are ideally looking for someone with several years’ experience in a busy role, It would be an advantage if you have previous experience working in the health sector.

It is essential that you have the following skills:

  • Competent in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook & Power point) and related functions and generally be computer savvy with the ability to learn the other software packages used.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people - internally and externally.
  • Multi-tasking abilities
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to prioritise your own workload, as well as work as part of the team.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • You will be required to deal sensitively and confidentially with all information and have a strong attention to detail.
