About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Co-ordinator to provide cover for planned leave and to assist our Booking team on a daily basis
Our teams co-ordinate the Outpatient and Surgical bookings so you will need to an effective communicator, have excellent administrative, organisational and time management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
About you
Naturally you will be able to recognise the needs, aims and aspirations of whanau from all culturally diverse groups within our community. It would be an advantage if you have previous experience working in the health sector. We are ideally looking for someone with experience in a busy role.
You will also need the following key attributes and skills:
- Competent in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook & Power point) and related functions and generally be computer savvy with the ability to learn the other software packages used.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people - internally and externally.
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Multi-tasking & Organisational abilities
- Self-motivated, with the ability to prioritise your own workload, as well as work as part of the team.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- You will be required to deal sensitively and confidentially with all information and have a strong attention to detail.
- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
- Experience in projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.
