Duties

• Serve meals to students in a courteous and timely manner, creating a positive dining environment
• Prepare and portion food items according to menu specifications, adhering to food safety guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of serving areas, kitchens, and dining spaces throughout your shift
• Assist with food handling, setup, and breakdown of meal service stations for breakfast and lunch periods
• Support catering events or special school functions by providing attentive service and ensuring smooth operations
• Follow all food safety protocols, including proper storage, sanitation practices, and dietary accommodations
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure dietary needs are met and special requests are handled efficiently

Skills

• Previous experience in related food service environments is highly valued
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Experience serving in cafeterias, catering events, or banquet settings is preferred
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food handling safety standards
• Background in hospitality or restaurant work enhances your ability to deliver excellent service
