Job Description

JD Telecom is looking for a professional, English-fluent Virtual Receptionist / Call Coordinator to handle inbound phone calls for our U.S. clients. You will be the first point of contact for hotel staff calling in for technical support, service requests, and general inquiries.

This role requires excellent phone etiquette, clear spoken English, and the ability to stay calm and organized while handling multiple requests.

Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound company phone calls during U.S. business hours
  • Greet callers professionally and follow call scripts
  • Gather key information (hotel name, issue, urgency)
  • Create and log service tickets accurately
  • Identify urgent vs non-urgent issues and escalate appropriately
  • Schedule service calls and coordinate with technicians
  • Communicate updates via email or messaging platform
  • Maintain a professional and friendly tone at all times

Required Qualifications

  • Fluent English (spoken and written)
  • Clear, neutral accent suitable for U.S. callers
  • Prior experience answering phones for U.S.-based companies
  • Strong listening and communication skills
  • Comfortable handling frustrated or urgent callers
  • Basic computer skills (email, CRM/ticketing systems)
  • Reliable internet connection and quiet work environment
  • Ability to follow SOPs and call scripts

Preferred (Nice to Have)

  • Experience in:
  • Call centers
  • Virtual receptionist roles
  • IT support / telecom / MSP environments
  • Familiarity with VoIP or phone systems
  • Experience working U.S. shifts

Work Schedule

  • Monday–Friday
  • U.S. Central / Eastern Time business hours
  • Part-time or Full-time (to be discussed)

Compensation

  • $5–7 USD per hour (based on experience)
  • Long-term opportunity with performance-based increases

Trial & Onboarding

  • Paid trial period
  • Calls may be recorded for training and quality assurance
  • Full scripts, workflows, and training provided
