Introduction:
Join Monbeef’s production team as a Rendering Labourer and play an important part in our operation.

Based at our Cooma site, you will work in a supportive team environment, helping to turn animal by-products into valuable finished products. This is a practical, hands-on role where you can build your skills, learn processes and contribute to safe, efficient production each day.

Description:
What you'll be doing:
Rendering is an important part of our operation. It involves processing animal by-products, such as fat and bone, into useful products including tallow and meat and bone meal.

In this hands-on role, you will:
•
Work with a supportive production team in the rendering area

•
Help operate and monitor specialised processing equipment

•
Assist with keeping production moving safely and efficiently

•
Complete cleaning, washdowns and basic equipment checks

•
Follow food safety, hygiene, quality and safety requirements

•
Learn practical skills in a specialised area of meat processing

Skills and Experiences:
What you'll have:

A reliable attitude and willingness to learn

•
Ability to follow instructions and work safely

•
Comfortable working in a physical, hands-on production environment

•
A team-focused approach and good work ethic

•
Commitment to hygiene, quality and food safety standards

•
Ability to complete basic paperwork and production records

•
Previous experience in meat processing, manufacturing or labouring is helpful, but not essential

•
A boiler ticket or experience operating production equipment is highly regarded
