Reporting Analyst

We offer bespoke managed service solutions that give clients the option of having our expert team on-site at their own facility or outsourcing those services to us here at CLS.
Job Title: Reporting Analyst
Summary and Reporting Structure: The Reporting Analyst is responsible for managing and delivering accurate, timely reports and data analysis for both internal and external stakeholders. Reporting to the Microbiology Lab Supervisor, this role includes maintaining laboratory quality systems, managing client projects, and ensuring adherence to GMP and ISO17025 standards. The Reporting Analyst plays a critical role in providing insights, trending data, and delivering a high level of customer service.

Accurate and timely documentation, data entry, and reporting.
Building strong relationships with clients and internal teams through professional and efficient communication.
Supporting project management activities, including initial client setup, service agreements, and reporting.

Job Duties:
Work under the direction of the Microbiology Lab Supervisor to ensure compliance with GMP, ISO17025, and safety standards.
Maintain the Laboratory Quality System to uphold laboratory operational excellence.
Project manage larger customer accounts, including initial setup and ongoing reporting.
Create, review, and validate test reports and service level agreements.
Ensure accurate and timely entry of test results into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
Trend data and analyze results to provide insights for laboratory and client use.
Manage the logging of samples, labelling, and associated documentation for samples received.
Assist in producing tenders and other documentation for client proposals.
Liaise with logistics and laboratory teams to coordinate sample collections and manage subcontracted testing.
Update ERP systems to improve reporting efficiencies and data workflows.
Provide excellent customer service and act as a point of contact for queries.
Support the Finance department with sales and purchase invoice processing.
Investigate and document any out-of-specification results in collaboration with the Lab Supervisor.
Perform other related activities as directed by the Microbiology Lab Supervisor.

Where You Come From:
A third-level qualification in Microbiology, Data Analysis, or a related field.
1-2+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally within a laboratory or regulated environment.
Familiarity with GMP standards and FDA requirements is desirable.
Strong proficiency in IT tools, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
