Position Overview
Job Summary for Provider Outreach:
The Provider Outreach Team is responsible for managing and maintaining the accuracy of the Zelis Provider Directory. Federal and state legislation require quarterly outreaches be made to providers contracted with Zelis, requesting a review of our current provider directory information, and a confirmation response or a response outlining requested changes needed to their information Maintaining accuracy of the provider directory allows for proper provider licensing, prevents providers from committing fraud, ensures accurate claim payments, and correct billing to the patient for their services. The role focuses on increasing provider participation in healthcare networks and ensuring effective communication between providers and the organization.
This includes offering support to existing providers, addressing concerns, and ensuring that providers understand and comply with organizational policies and processes.
Job Responsibility:

  • Addressing provider concerns and resolving issues.
  • Attention to detail and ability to track and follow up on outreach activities.
  • Must have strong Excel skills, including the ability to manage data, create detailed reports, and analyze information effectively.
  • Knowledge of advanced functions like pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data sorting will be a key asset.
  • Willing to work in nightshifts, and adherence to Time Management.
  • Ability to maintain strict adherence to cleanroom protocols and data entry in a paperless system, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

Job Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in any stream (preferably in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related fields).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills for clear, effective interaction with healthcare providers and internal teams.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role (either voice or non-voice), preferably in the healthcare or related industry, where interaction with clients or providers is a core aspect of the job.
  • Willingness and ability to work in a night shift schedule to support the provider outreach process across different time zones.
