Hours: 37 hours per week

Location: Bognor Regis office/Some home working

Contract type: Permanent

Salary: Starting £28,744.56 per annum

Job description: We are looking for a self-motivated and talented Research & Campaigns Lead. The main purpose of this role is to lead our Research and Campaigns team of volunteers in fulfilling the twin service aim of improving the policies and practices that affect people’s life and to support the CEO in achieving the relevant Citizens Advice membership requirements.

Your main duties will also include monitoring trends, contribute to drafting a research and campaigns plan, ensure that research and campaigns is integrated within the induction and training programs, produce reports, briefings, consultation responses and calls for evidence and analyse and research matters affecting people’s lives.

Essential Criteria

· Proven ability to develop and maintain systems and procedures to support research and campaigns work.

· Ability to research, analyse and interpret complex information and work sensitively with clients.

· Understanding of key current research and campaign issues, and their potential impact on the organisation’s clients.

· Proven ability to use IT systems & packages and excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to produce and present effective information, reports and briefings etc. verbally and in writing.

· Ability to support other teams with integrating research & campaign through training, communications and generally promote research and campaigns work internally and externally

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Highly organized, with good time management skills
