The Research Contracts and Funding Team provide expert advice and administrative support to ECU researchers. You will be responsible for effectively managing post-award research grant administration and recording research grant information for the university. You will also negotiate research contracts with a variety of organisations including government, profit/not for profit, as well as international organisations, and will ensure contracts align with the project, ECU requirements and government policy.
To be successful in the role you will require:
Experience in providing high-level research administration support and/or contract administration in a complex environment, preferably in a tertiary level research environment.
Excellent attention to detail, and ability to understand and interpret complex documentation and apply to a range of circumstances.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, as well as being part of a small team.
Good knowledge of and skills in the use of software applications, in particular information management systems, complex online databases and word processing.
You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University’s values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry, Courage and Personal Excellence.
Benefits & Remuneration
This full-time fixed term position attracts renumeration of $92,087 - $99,353 pa plus 17% University superannuation contribution. Part-time positions will be renumeration will be pro-rated.
