Introduction:
Daydream Island Resort & Living Reef is located in the heart of Queensland’s Whitsunday Islands and the gateway to the World Heritage-listed Great Barrier Reef. With stunning views out to the impossibly blue waters of the Whitsundays, it is the perfect place to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the island.

The island is one of the closest Whitsunday islands to the mainland (Airlie Beach) with spectacular 30-minute ferry ride to work each day.

Description:
As a Reservation Sales Agent, you will handle guest enquiries, manage bookings, and deliver exceptional service that ensures a seamless start to every guest’s Daydream Island experience. You’ll play a key role in maximising occupancy and revenue while creating memorable first impressions for our visitors.

Key Responsibilities

Manage inbound calls, emails, and online booking enquiries.

Provide accurate information on accommodation, packages, and resort facilities.

Convert enquiries into reservations through effective sales techniques.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of resort offerings, promotions, and policies.

Ensure all bookings are accurate and guest requirements are clearly communicated.

Work collaboratively with the front office and operations teams to deliver a smooth guest experience.

Skills and Experiences:
About You

Previous experience in reservations, sales, or hospitality (preferred).

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and reservation systems (Opera experience desirable).

Positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude.
