Reservations Agent Full Time Position

About Us

An Chúirt Hotel is a 4-star hotel nestled in the heart of Gweedore, offering warm hospitality, stunning surroundings, and exceptional guest experiences. We are currently seeking a friendly, organised, and customer-focused Reservations Agent to join our team.

The Role

As a Reservations Agent, you will be the first point of contact for many of our guests. You’ll play a key role in maximising room sales, delivering excellent customer service, and ensuring a smooth booking experience from enquiry to arrival.

About The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Handle all reservation enquiries via phone, email, and online systems
• Process bookings accurately using the hotel’s reservation system
• Provide guests with information about rooms, rates, packages, and hotel facilities
• Upsell rooms, packages, and hotel services where appropriate
• Manage modifications, cancellations, and special requests
• Liaise with Front Office, Housekeeping, and Sales teams to ensure smooth operations
• Maintain accurate guest records and payment details
• Deliver a professional and friendly guest experience at all times

Requirements

• Previous experience in hotel reservations, front office, or customer service preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent telephone manner
• Good computer skills (experience with hotel booking systems is an advantage)
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility with shifts, including weekends if required (Mon to Friday normally)
