About the Role
As the Reservations Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in the guest journey from the very first point of contact. Whether guests reach out by phone, email, or online, you will ensure each interaction reflects the warmth, professionalism, and efficiency The Arlington Hotel is known for.
You will support the Reservations & Revenue Manager in optimising occupancy, maintaining accurate availability and pricing, and ensuring all bookings are processed to the highest standard. Working at one of Dublin’s busiest hotels means no two days are the same—this role suits someone who loves organisation, communication, and working at the heart of hotel operations.

About The Role
Key Responsibilities
Reservation & Revenue Support
- Manage reservations via telephone, email, and online channels with accuracy and care.
- Assist the Revenue Manager in managing room rates, availability, and forecasting.
- Update hotel and third-party websites with correct pricing, promotions, and inventory.
- Support the coordination and allocation of group bookings, deposits, billing, and special requirements.
- Maintain accurate and complete booking information in the hotel’s reservation system.
Guest Experience & Communication
- Provide friendly, professional responses to all guest enquiries.
- Proactively resolve guest issues or escalate to senior staff as needed.
- Communicate guest needs across departments to ensure seamless service.
- Promote hotel facilities, dining options, and upgrades to enhance the guest stay.
Coordination Across Departments
- Liaise with Reception, Housekeeping, Sales, Events, and F&B teams.
- Provide daily reservation backups, group lists, and arrival information.
- Ensure VIP, special request, and corporate bookings are handled with precision.
Administrative Excellence
- Maintain organised filing systems and ensure all confidential information is securely stored.
- Prepare or assist with daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reports.
- Support compliance with hotel procedures, accounting guidelines, and data protection standards.
Team Support & Leadership
- Act as a point of support for the reservations team and assist with training when required.
- Promote a positive, collaborative, and service-driven working environment.
- Help drive improvements in departmental procedures and overall guest service.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in hotel reservations or front office preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for customer service.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Knowledge of PMS systems ( Opera, etc.) is an advantage.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment.
- A positive attitude and strong team spirit.
