SALES SUPPORT SPECIALIST JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION TITLE: Sales Support Specialist

DEPARTMENT: Pepsi - Corpus Christi

SUPERVISOR: Assistant Small Format Sales Manager

SUPERVISEES: N/A

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

SUMMARY OF DUTIES: The Sales Support Specialist is responsible for the cooler resets or new store sets at small format stores alongside other companies. The Sales Support position is also responsible for assisting drivers with store deliveries, product rotation, stocking, and making deliveries and hot shots as needed.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Assist drivers on routes when needed
• Conduct cooler/Cold Vault resets effectively and efficiently alongside other vendor companies
• Set shelves and stock first orders at brand new opening stores.
• Flexibility on day to day tasks.
• Openness to help where ever may be needed (ex. helping a driver or salesmen after a reset or on no reset days.)
• Keep inventory on reset supplies such as glides and tag stickers.
• Keep a neat and tide reset van.
• Keep a neat and organized storage room (dungeon).
• Build shipper and displays.
• Ability to operate under minimal supervision (self-managed role).
• Complete required paperwork in an accurate, legible and timely manner.
• Attend and all mandatory meetings.
• Follows all safety operations, and Company Vehicle and Equipment policies.
• Regular, reliable, predictable attendance.
• Performs other functions or duties as directed by management in line with the objectives of Oneta Company.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school or GED equivalent

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be self-motivated.
• Must have a good driving record.
• Must pass pre-employment physical.
• Must pass pre-employment and random drug screening.
• Must pass criminal background checks.
• Must have a personal cell phone.
• Must be available to work weekends if needed.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, and/or weekends/holidays.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

WORKING AND ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS

• Fast Paced Working Environment
• Some office work required.
• Mostly out in the trade.
• Extreme hot and cold temperatures depending on weather and store environment.
• Very fast-paced and high customer activity/shopping.
• Extreme cold areas (Cold Vault/ Walk in Coolers).

• Ability to build and maintain working relationships with customers.

• Ability to handle pallet jacks, push carts and equipment at store.
• Ability to drive box truck for deliveries.

• Ability to work safely and efficient around shoppers.
• Ability to work alongside others in tight environments.
• Ability to use a tablet and printer.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Spend most of the day in and out of personal vehicle.
• A lot of walking / standing.
• Bending/ stooping/ reaching, repeatedly.
• Pushing / pulling up to 50 lbs, repeatedly.
• Be on feet for 10 hours.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
