Residence Advisor

Our lovely residence in the Central City needs a new Residence Advisor Superstar to look after our 30 international students.

Accommodation is provided as remuneration for the role!

Your day to day:

• Bring a sense of community in the Residence
• Weekly maintenance and cleaning checks
• Facilitate weekly check-outs and check-ins of students including residence orientation
• Organise 1 onsite social event a week
• A set routine of Hours
• Assist students with issues
• Enforce community residence’s rules
• Report maintenance and disciplinary issues to EF Accommodation manager
• Meet with Accommodation team at the school twice a month
• Offering students cultural and emotional support as needed

You are:

• Positive and dynamic
• Flexible approach to hours
• Friendly and approachable, yet able to be firm when it comes to enforcing community rules
• Capacity to work unsupervised and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Understanding of the need of international students living away from home
• Excellent command of English

This role would suit a student as accommodation is provided, live-in style for the role.
