Residence Advisor
Our lovely residence in the Central City needs a new Residence Advisor Superstar to look after our 30 international students.
Accommodation is provided as remuneration for the role!
Your day to day:
- Bring a sense of community in the Residence
- Weekly maintenance and cleaning checks
- Facilitate weekly check-outs and check-ins of students including residence orientation
- Organise 1 onsite social event a week
- A set routine of Hours
- Assist students with issues
- Enforce community residence’s rules
- Report maintenance and disciplinary issues to EF Accommodation manager
- Meet with Accommodation team at the school twice a month
- Offering students cultural and emotional support as needed
You are:
- Positive and dynamic
- Flexible approach to hours
- Friendly and approachable, yet able to be firm when it comes to enforcing community rules
- Capacity to work unsupervised and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Understanding of the need of international students living away from home
- Excellent command of English
