Residence Advisor

Our lovely residence in the Central City needs a new Residence Advisor Superstar to look after our 30 international students.

Accommodation is provided as remuneration for the role!

Your day to day:

Bring a sense of community in the Residence
Weekly maintenance and cleaning checks
Facilitate weekly check-outs and check-ins of students including residence orientation
Organise 1 onsite social event a week
A set routine of Hours
Assist students with issues
Enforce community residence’s rules
Report maintenance and disciplinary issues to EF Accommodation manager
Meet with Accommodation team at the school twice a month
Offering students cultural and emotional support as needed

You are:

Positive and dynamic
Flexible approach to hours
Friendly and approachable, yet able to be firm when it comes to enforcing community rules
Capacity to work unsupervised and as part of a team
Excellent communication skills
Understanding of the need of international students living away from home
Excellent command of English

This role would suit a student as accommodation is provided, live-in style for the role.
