Substance Use Disorder Residential Treatment Program

Mountain Comprehensive Care Center is seeking compassionate, dependable, and recovery-focused individuals to join our residential treatment team as a Residential Care Associate (RCA). In this role, you will help create a safe, structured, and supportive environment for individuals working toward recovery from substance use disorders.

As an RCA, you will play an important role in encouraging recovery, supporting daily programming, and assisting residents as they work toward their treatment goals.

Job Duties

  • Build positive, supportive relationships with residents throughout their recovery journey.
  • Reinforce treatment goals and collaborate with the clinical team to support each resident's progress.
  • Assist with orienting new residents to the program, daily routines, recovery expectations, and relapse prevention principles.
  • Support daily program activities and help maintain a structured therapeutic environment.
  • Encourage resident participation in programming, groups, and recovery-focused activities.
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation, including required progress notes within established timeframes.
  • Assist with maintaining organized and up-to-date resident records.
  • Work collaboratively with treatment staff and community partners to promote continuity of care.
  • Attend required staff meetings, trainings, and maintain assigned Relias learning requirements.
  • Follow agency policies, professional ethics, confidentiality standards, and best practices in client care.
  • Assist with day-to-day residential operations and other responsibilities as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma, Driver's License

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to evaluate needs of clients. Knowledge of overall objectives and treatment concepts. Knowledge of rules, regulations, and laws pertaining to the care and treatment of mental/behavior disorders and/or intellectually disabled. Good verbal and written skills; patience and flexibility. Ability to maintain accurate records and reports. Ability to communicate with others in a professional manner. An eclectic knowledge base.
