Residential Director - Community Stabilization Unit

Team LLC is a growing company and a provider of Mental Health Skill-Building services in the Central Virginia region. Due to company growth, we are a seeking a Program Manager to oversee daily operations. The ideal candidate is excited to grow with a young company. The Program Manager will be required to perform clinical duties during a temporary period upon hire.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Must be able to complete management of daily operations and delegation to support staff. Must have experience providing supervision and/or management of employees. Must have knowledge of the areas of need for adults with serious mental illness; must be able to work from a person-centered framework when providing training services; must have clinical interviewing skills; must have understanding or ability to train staff in appropriate mental health skill-building interventions; must be able to identify clinical risk factors for suicide, violence and other risky behaviors. Must have the ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing. Must be registered with the Virginia Board of Counseling as a QMHP-A or LMHP Resident.

Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in human services field or management. Experience in a leadership role with a human services or mental health agency. Marketing experience or knowledge of DMAS marketing requirements. Experience providing direct services to individuals with mental illness.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations of community mental health agency office that provides Mental Health Skill-Building services
  • Directly supervise the work of Administrative Assistant staff and Community Liaison staff as assigned
  • Directly supervise counseling staff as their administrative supervisor
  • Provide clinical supervision if qualified to do so
  • Maintain an effective team of counseling staff and complete hiring practices to ensure an adequate staffing plan is in place for assigned site
  • Complete on-boarding and orientation for new hires
  • Coordinate with upper management team members routinely
  • Coordinate with referral sources and assessment staff and ensure referrals are processed in a timely manner
  • Consistently demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and communication skills with internal team members and community partners
  • Maintain compliance with personnel and client records to ensure compliance with DBHDS and DMAS regulations
  • Submit weekly reports to upper management regarding billing, payroll and performance outcomes for assigned site
  • Review and submit service authorization requests to Magellan of Virginia and Managed Care Organizations in a timely manner
  • Communicate effectively with Care Coordinators and other representatives of Managed Care Organizations to ensure service coordination efforts of individuals served
  • Act as company liaison to DBHDS Office of Licensing and DBHDS Office of Human Rights
  • Monitor staff in reference to compliance with agency policies and coordinates with Supervisors to ensure counseling staff are held accountable for compliance with company policies, procedures and disciplinary action
  • Conduct monthly staff meetings and trainings with counseling staff
  • Represent agency at community functions as needed
  • Maintain knowledge of services offered by the agency and eligibility criteria for those services
  • Maintain certifications and trainings as required by Team, LLC and regulatory agencies

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
