Residential Framers Wanted – apprentices, 2+ years framing experience & Lead Hands
Location: Edmonton & Surrounding Area
We are a growing residential framing company looking to add reliable, hardworking team members to our crew. We are hiring Apprentice Framers, Framers, and Lead Hands for full-time work on residential construction projects throughout the Edmonton area.
Positions Available
- Apprentice Framers
- Lead Hands
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings (lead positions).
- Measure, cut, and assemble wood framing components.
- Frame floors, walls, roofs, and stairs.
- Install sheathing, beams, trusses, and engineered wood products.
- Ensure work is completed accurately, efficiently, and safely.
- Operate and maintain hand and power tools.
- Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe.
- Work effectively as part of a team and maintain a positive attitude.
- Follow company safety policies and industry best practices.
- Lead Hands will supervise crews, Safely coordinate daily tasks, and maintain quality standards.
Requirements
- Previous residential framing experience is an asset (experience level dependent on position).
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in all weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
- Comfortable working at heights.
- Basic knowledge of framing tools and techniques.
- Valid driver's license is an asset.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Must have CSA-approved steel-toe boots and basic PPE.
- Own hand tools are considered an asset.
