At Simple Beginnings we are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a House Manager. The purpose of a House Manager for a group home is to oversee the day-to-day operations and provide support to our residence that require assistance with daily living.

Job Description:

A House Manager is responsible for ensuring the well-being, safety and quality of life of our residents which include managing daily operations and providing support to our residents with various needs.

Must have verbal and written communication skills adequate to the specific job.

Experience in managing a group home or assisted living facility is highly desirable.

Job Responsibilities:

Resident Care – implement individualized care plans for each resident for their specific needs, assist with daily living activities, hygiene, grooming, medication management, meal preparations and transportation. Handle challenging situations effectively and in a calm manner to maintain the safety of staff and residents.

Staff Supervision- Supervise direct staff, schedule staff shifts, manage work assignments and ensure staff adhere to all policies and procedures. Ability to adjust your schedule for shift coverage if needed.

Administrative Tasks- Maintain accurate and up to date information of residents in our electronic record site, including medication administrations, behavior or incident reports, and ADL’s. Manage supply orders and groceries for daily operations.

Communications- Communicate regularly with resident, guardians, coworkers and update them on residents’ well-being. Effectively communicate issues or concerns with upper management.Compensation:

Our current pay rate is $20.00/hr

Staff will be trained before they work alone with any client in:

CPR/First Aid

ABI

Disability Overview

Mental Health

HIPPA Laws

Positive Behavior Supports

Seizures

Other trainings required by the State of Utah

Job Types: Full-Time

Salary: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
