We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Residential Roofer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems on residential properties. Duties

• Install new roofing systems including asphalt shingles, metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, and other materials according to project specifications and safety standards
• Repair and replace damaged or aging roofs, ensuring proper sealing and weatherproofing
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to accurately execute roofing projects
• Use hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, ladders, and safety harnesses safely while working at heights on residential structures
• Perform siding installation, stucco work, caulking, trim carpentry, and masonry tasks as needed for complete exterior restoration
• Conduct roof inspections to identify issues and recommend appropriate repair solutions while adhering to construction safety regulations
• Assist with heavy lifting of materials and equipment while following proper lifting techniques for safety and efficiency

Requirements

• Proven construction experience with a focus on roofing installation and repair in residential settings
• Knowledge of roofing materials such as metal roofing, asphalt shingles, single-ply membranes, and related systems
• Familiarity with construction workplace safety regulations including the use of safety harnesses, ladder use protocols, and fall protection measures
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans accurately
• Experience working outdoors in varying weather conditions with outdoor work experience preferred
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, fabrication equipment, and masonry tools for diverse tasks
• Strong understanding of construction estimating processes and blueprint reading skills
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical stamina for demanding tasks
• Additional skills such as siding installation, tile laying, welding or plumbing are a plus but not required

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
