Residential Supervisor TERM
The Residential Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day to day management and operations of a home. Ensuring outcome-oriented, person-centred services for individuals with an intellectual disability is a significant responsibility, including working directly with individuals. The position also supervises staff, including hiring, training, coaching, mentoring and providing day-to-day direction. Performing some administrative and financial responsibilities is also required.
The ideal candidate will require:
· Degree or diploma in Social Sciences. Disability and Community Support diploma is preferred.
· Previous experience supporting individuals with an intellectual disability.
· Demonstrated leadership skills and previous experience providing supervision to staff.
· Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.
· Demonstrated commitment to community living philosophy and the vision, mission and values of Winnserv.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to listen, understand, problem solve and respond to various situations.
· Must be a self-starter who is able to multi-task and be organized.
· Must have experience with Microsoft Office applications including Office 365, Outlook, Word and Excel.
· Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $46,300.00-$48,200.00 per year
