Resource Lead - Education, Clinical Excellence and Quality Team - Edmonton, AB
About this opportunity
The Resource Lead – Education, Clinical Excellence and Quality Team within CBI Home Health will support the Education Team to achieve outcomes dedicated to safe, quality care while ensuring that the Education Department meets or exceeds education metrics meets or exceeds standards set by the organization and external stakeholders. As a Resource Lead- Education administrative obligations will be met that align with best practice guidelines as well as health & safety provisions to overall meet individual staff needs. They will work closely with the Nursing Education team to provide support with onboarding, risk management and general program support activities that will enable Nursing Educators to focus on their regulated and unregulated staff in the provision of service and clinical excellence.
**Please note: this role has an in-person requirement and does not offer a remote option**
Take a inside look at what you'll do each day
- Monitor and update New Employee trackers (General orientation and site-specific tracker).
- Work closely with Talent Acquisition team to support a positive onboarding experience.
- Coordinate and communicate to new employees their Orientation schedule and instructions.
- Monitors equipment supply including inventory of mobile devices and clinical equipment.
- Assists Education team with scheduling of education sessions, booking 1:1 Educator support. Prepares and sends out communication to staff with expiring qualifications such as Mandatory Education.
- Oversees education session attendance lists, updates UKG/AlayaCare.
- Assists Education team with Education Metrics reporting, assists with planning of education delivery.
- Schedules regular maintenance appointments for clinical equipment and maintains maintenance logs
- Review and advise Education team of trends identified on Quality Outcome reports.
What you will need to be successful
- A post-secondary education in mental health, medical office / business administration considered an asset
- 1 to 2 years’ experience in a reception or customer service role within the developmental sector
- Well-developed skills using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook) and a publishing program
- A professional customer service attitude
- Time management and prioritization skills
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Great oral and written communication skills
