AMS Diagnostics based in Ireland is recruiting for a qualified Respiratory Physiologist to join its state of the art outpatient diagnostic centre based in Cork City, Ireland. The main role is to perform and report on Pulmonary Function Tests (PFT’s) & also to report on at home sleep studies. The service is supported by a Consultant Respiratory Physician.

Location: Cork City, Ireland.

Candidate Requirements

1. Possess a Physiologist/Clinical Measurement degree or equivalent or possess a Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement (MPPM) from Dublin Institute of Technology or equivalent.

2. Have 1-2 years post qualification experience as a Respiratory Physiologist in an hospital setting.

3. Have experience performing & reporting autonomously on Pulmonary Function Tests (PFT'S).

4. Experience in setting up and scoring at-home sleep studies.

5.The successful candidate should possess excellent interpersonal skills and an awareness/sensitivity towards patient needs.

6. Strong organizational skills with an ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.

7. An ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and collaborate well internally and external to the organisation.

8.Have excellent verbal & written communication skills.

9. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
