Duties

• Efficiently wash, sanitize, and dry dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic ingredient handling and prep work
• Clear and bus tables promptly to maintain a clean dining environment
• Support kitchen staff by organizing and storing clean items properly
• Follow all sanitation standards and health & safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
• Operate kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, sinks, and cleaning tools safely and effectively
• Handle manual tasks including heavy lifting of supplies and equipment with proper technique

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required; training provided for eager learners
• Knowledge of food safety management and sanitation practices essential for maintaining hygiene standards
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including lifting heavy loads safely
• Familiarity with operating basic kitchen equipment such as dishwashers and cleaning tools
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and safety protocols
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude in a fast-paced setting
• Prior experience with catering or banquet service is a plus but not mandatory
