Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage guest relations will be crucial in maintaining our high standards of customer service.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
- Manage waitlists efficiently using the Clover POS system.
- Provide accurate information about menu items and restaurant policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
- Assist with seating arrangements to optimize flow and guest comfort.
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, and knowledge.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
- Address guest concerns promptly and courteously, ensuring satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both guests and team members.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Clover POS, is a plus.
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential.
