About the role:
We are seeking a Restaurant Manager who will report to our Food & Beverage Manager. You will be responsible for ensuring that all Restaurant operations run efficiently.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operation and help deliver the best guest experience
- Lead and mentor the Restaurant team and actively cultivate a collaborative culture based on mutual respect and trust
- Review, implement and maintain operational standards, ensuring efficient delivery
- Responsible for Restaurant financial management including budgeting, ordering and stock take with accuracy and efficiency
- Rosters, daily briefings, onboarding, recruitment, performance reviews
- Daily interdepartmental communication to ensure smooth operations
This is a key position and you will need to have strong focus on excellence, plenty of enthusiasm and a flexible approach. You must be self motivated, a team player and able to work well in a high pressure environment. In addition , the successful candidate will have:
- Previous management level F&B experience in a fine dining environment
- Minimum of 3 years experience
- Relevant Hospitality Management qualification (certificate, diploma or degree)
- A commitment to high quality restaurant service delivery
- Proven experience to drive a team and foster team work
- Administrative management experience and sound financial acumen
- Attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills
- Experience training staff in fine dining
- A high degree of professionalism
