Located on the outskirts of Thurles, Co. Tipperary, Anner Hotel and its leisure centre is a pleasant base with friendly staff, fine food and plenty of comforts. Originally a country house, this popular 4-star hotel has expanded to include modern amenities while still holding on to its old-world charm and character.
We are now seeking to hire a part time Restaurant Supervisor to join our team.
The Role:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing the highest quality dining experience for guests of at The Anner Hotel, Thurles in terms of restaurant service, quality and standards. This role will support the Restaurant Manager with maximising guest satisfaction by ensuring guest bookings are confirmed, gives work direction to Restaurant staff and takes opportunities to upsell.
About The Role
The Ideal Candidate will:
- Be experienced in supervising a team
- Have experience of working to high food safety standards
- Be experienced in coaching Restaurant staff to excellent service and guest satisfaction levels.
Desirable:
- Good people management skills
- Working knowledge of timekeeping systems
- Experience of using restaurant software
- Have a qualification in hospitality or food
- Minimum of 3 to 4 years working in hospitality
