The George Hotel in Limerick is seeking an enthusiastic Restaurant/Bar team member with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role to join us on a part/full-time basis.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

· Assist in creating a warm & welcoming atmosphere for our guests

· Ensure that all guests queries and requests are adhered to promptly and effectively and that exceptional service is provided at all times.

· Have full knowledge of all menus and service offerings and be able to answer any and all questions that our guests may have with regards to food and beverage.

· Take food and beverage orders promptly and efficiently and ensure that all orders are communicated to the kitchen and bar accurately.

· Ensure safe and efficient delivery of all food and beverage orders in line with our service standards and expectations

· Clear, disinfect and reset tables promptly after each service to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, and to avoid delays in seating guests.

· Handle guest complaints professionally and courteously, escalating to the manager as needed.

· Ensure all cash, room charges, float and till procedures are carried out

· Prepare all back of house service points with regards to expected number of guests for following services, complete service duty checklist and have supervisor or manager check and sign every shift

· Perform any other duties as directed by the hotel management team

· Ensure that all required duties are carried out including stock management, inventory control & preparation for following services

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €14.15-€15.15 per hour
